Cookie Policy
Effective September 25, 2026 · Last updated September 25, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on PDFly. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include web beacons (tiny images or scripts that record that a page or ad was viewed) and device identifiers. Below, “cookies” covers all of them.
Cookies we set ourselves
None. PDFly sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics tags. Your files and jobs are tracked by a short-lived job link, not by a cookie.
Advertising cookies
Ads are served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Depending on your region and your choices, Google may set some of the following:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
__gads | Google (on this site) | Serving ads, frequency capping, measuring ad performance | Up to 13 months |
__gpi | Google (on this site) | Serving ads and frequency capping | Up to 13 months |
__eoi | Google (on this site) | Security and fraud prevention for ad serving | Up to 6 months |
IDE | Google (doubleclick.net) | Personalised advertising, where you have allowed it | Up to 13 months (EEA/UK), 24 months elsewhere |
test_cookie | Google (doubleclick.net) | Checks whether your browser accepts cookies | 15 minutes |
FCCDCF | Google consent tool (EEA, UK, Switzerland) | Stores your consent choices | Up to 13 months |
FCNEC | Google consent tool (EEA, UK, Switzerland) | Supports the consent message | Up to 1 year |
Google may also use web beacons and your IP address for these purposes. Google describes its cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies and how it uses partner-site data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your choices
EEA, UK and Switzerland. A consent message from Google’s certified consent management platform, integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, asks for your choice before advertising cookies are used. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the Privacy settings link in the footer.
Personalised ads anywhere. Opt out at Google My Ad Center, aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
In your browser. You can block or delete cookies at any time; every tool keeps working without them.
